I had the honor of attending the 81st Annual CFM Awards Ceremony in Jefferson City on March 10, 2017. Many scholarships and awards were presented to outstanding people and groups honoring conservationists in Missouri on their achievements in conservation.
Our own Karen Richardson, Chert Glade Master Naturalist, received the Educator of the Year award for 2016. Karen's achievements in the areas of pollinators and monarch butterflies is exceptional, and along with many other associated conservationist activities, put her in the spotlight in SW Missouri.
Here is the Federation's full write up on the award. Congratulations Karen!
